O, Mother Earth,
you’re so rich, with butterflies’ songs
and full of olden lullabies,

splish splash,
dropping water,
melodious, sonorous.
drenches and covers all,
pelting and uncaring,
slowly, slowly the whole world
is covered with the endless
dropping of water. |

parang kristal ang luningning
sa pagtama ng araw, at pag-ihip ng hangin
may mumunting alon, bumubura
ng inyong larawan sa tubig na sariwa. |
